ONLY
Anyone who has an existing business or is trying to launch a new business; All Muslim business women are welcome.
How much does it cost?
£37 per month, for a minimum of 3 months (the fee will be charged on a monthly basis).
What do you get for your monthly subscription?
Two online sessions, and two group check-ins per month.
What happens in a session?
Each member will have the chance to update the group on their progress, set new business goals, and get help, advice, and support from the group on their business to enable them to continue to move forward.
What is a group check-in?
Online group check-ins occur twice in a month in-between sessions. All members are required to update an Online document for group check-ins. This will help members to stay on track with their goals.
Who will be facilitating the sessions?
Sister Farzana, founder of The Muslim Coach, will be facilitating sessions; ensuring that they run to schedule, and that everyone gets equal session time. She will also be on hand to answer any questions, and will give feedback on group check-ins.
Why is the subscription for a minimum of three months?
It takes time to see the result of any changes or testing you do in your business, and we will be with you every step of the way. After the three months you may decide to stay in the same group, move to another one, or continue in a new direction. The 3-month structure ensures that everyone is 100% focused and committed for the time they are together. Yet it is also realistic, and acknowledges that people's goals and directions will change over time.
How many people are in the group?
There will be a minimum of 3, and ideally 4, but group sizes will vary depending on demand. The Muslim Coach will act as a facilitator for each group.
What happens if it doesn't suit me?
As this maybe your first experiencee of a business support group, we will do our utmost to ensure you have a beneficial experience. Firstly, all groups will be brought together to ensure the best outcome for all. If after the first session you are unhappy, we will try and rectify any issues, move you to another group (if one is available), or offer you a full refund if requested.
How do I ensure protection of my work?
This is a fear that many business owners have, and that I had too (before joining my own business support group). I think it is fair to say that there are very few truly unique ideas, so the chances of someone coming up with a similar idea to your own is potentially very high. The difference will lie in the implementation. Everyone joining Muslim Minds will need to trust their group with their ideas (so you won't be alone). The groups will be small to ensure privacy, and you will be carefully chosen for your group so competitors will not be placed in the same group.
I am new to all this, how am I going to support other members?
Many members will not have a business background, and will just be starting out. But they can bring other skills and experience to the sessions. You may have other work experience, or experience in Da'wah or volunteering. You may also have contacts in the Muslim community that would help other members. There is so much that you can offer inshaAllah!
I want to start my own business, but maybe this is not the right time to join a Business Support Group?
The great thing about joining Muslim Minds is that you can go at your own pace. You spend 2-3hrs per month in sessions, and the rest of the time you can use how you want. That means progress is at a speed you are comfortable with. But by locking yourself into a subscription based service you ensure you keep moving forward so that your ideas don't stall, and your dream dies.
